How much is rent?

When is rent due?
Rent is due in full at time of move-in, or if you wish to do monthly payments, rent is due the 1st of each month.
What is the pet policy?
Lakeside is a pet friendly facility, however there are rules and regulations in place to protect our residents. Things to keep in mind:
- Lakeside does not allow “pet sitting”
- If you are found to have an unauthorized pet in your apartment you will be fined $100 for an unauthorized pet. Should you choose to register the pet with us you will be responsible for the fine as well as all regular pet fees.
- The first step to registering an animal with Lakeside is providing up to date vaccine record and a picture of the animal.
ALL ANIMALS MUST BE 6 MONTHS OR OLDER.
The following breeds are NOT ALLOWED (Full bred OR Mixed):
- Pit Bull: Pit Bull Terriers, American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, or Miniature Bull Terriers. Crossbreeds or mixed with American Pit Bull Terriers
- Bulldog
- Rottweiler
- Akita: Including Japanese and Akita Innu
- Bernese: Including Mountain Dog, Berners Sennenhund and Bernese Cattle Dog
- Canary Dogs: Including Perro de Presa Canario
- Chow
- Doberman
- German Shepherd
- Dalmatians
- Husky
- Wolf breeds
- Rhodesian Ridgeback
DOG WEIGHT LIMIT: 75 LBS
- Once your pet’s vet records and picture have been approved you will be given an animal addendum to add your pet to your lease. All roommates will have to sign off on this addendum, agreeing that it is okay for you to have a pet in the apartment. Lastly you will need to pay the $350 Pet Fee (non-refundable) and the $30 Pet Rent before bringing the pet on property. Pet rent is charged monthly.

Will financial aid cover charges at Lakeside?
Your living costs at Lakeside can be covered by financial aid, just like on-campus housing. After university charges are satisfied, any available financial aid funds are released to the student for non-institutional expenses, such as off-campus housing. These funds can be used to pay charges at Lakeside. Normal payment deadlines will continue to apply.
